MISSION

The Off-Road Business Association (ORBA) is an innovative leader providing professional trail advocacy for motorized access and directing the future of Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV). We exist to advance the off-road community by influencing policy and implementing change with congressional lobbying and the ability to work cohesively through partnerships.

VISION

Industry professional using a collaborative based approach that connects business to grassroots through a unified voice for the OHV recreation.

WHAT WE DO

ORBA proactively protects recreation access and opportunities by ensuring that America's families are not arbitrarily denied the right to responsibly recreate. ORBA provides leadership in addressing land use issues by advancing policies that conserve the environment while at the same time providing off-road recreation opportunities.

We are a professional trade association composed of off-road related businesses united to promote common goals that support the prosperity and growth of the off-road industry. ORBA makes decisions and takes actions that maintain and expand off-highway vehicle recreation opportunity. ORBA works closely with its partner organizations on local, state and federal issues that have potential impacts to the off-road industry. We are dedicated to making it possible for the OHV industry to have a voice in land use issues.

Many industries have trade associations that protect their interests. The off-road business industry has ORBA!

LAND MANAGEMENT

ORBA works with land managers on local, state and federal levels to implement common sense land management plans that allow OHV recreation while at the same time protecting the environment. Managing OHV recreation using sound environmental principles is the only way we can ensure that future generations will have access to the same OHV opportunities.

POLITICAL

Promoting and influencing legislation that favors motorized off-road recreation. Working to educate legislators about the positive impact the motorized OHV industry has on the economy through the manufacture and sale of OHV equipment and the value of OHV tourism to rural communities. Educating elected officials regarding the fact that motorized OHV recreation is a strong family-bonding activity. Promoting the fact that the overwhelming majority of OHV recreation enthusiasts are law-abiding citizens who support law enforcement and sensible protection of the environment.

LEGAL

ORBA has partnered with other off-road organizations to form EcoLogic Partners, Inc. Ecologic Partners pools the resources of its member organizations to hire legal counsel in an effort to protect off-road recreation nationwide.

LAW ENFORCEMENT

ORBA encourages appropriate law enforcement. When reasonable laws are enforced everyone recreates safely.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

ORBA advocates using sound environmental principals when conflicts occur between recreation and environmental concerns. Properly managed off-road recreation areas protect the environment while providing OHV recreation opportunities. Motorized recreation and environmental protection are not conflicting concepts
