Trail Gear attended their first SEMA show this month, and reports that business was off the charts. The aftermarket parts manufacture from California recently increased production of American made products in its facility in Fresno. With a host of products geared toward the hardcore offroad market Trail Gear reported that its axle line up was very popular at the show in Las Vegas. The highlight of its SEMA booth was the RC Rockcrawling contest. Participants where given the choice of two Trail Gear branded RC machines and rewarded with a Trail Gear hat. Judging by the number of hats we saw running around the show I can only assume it was a huge hit.
ORBA members participating in the SEMA show are steadily increasing in the Second floor of the south hall. To support these members ORBA hosted a Lounge and meeting room adjacent to the show floor. A number of the members found the private area a great resource for holding meetings, eating lunch, or checking emails. Because the room was a success ORBA will work with SEMA to provide the service again in 2013. In addition a number of ORBA members at the SEMA show expressed an interest in developing the SEMA show floor into a more off-road friendly display. If you would like to coordinate your off-road booth for 2013 please contact Fred Wiley, so he can pass on your information to our BOD.
