Once again, SEMA steps up to support off-highway recreation in Johnson Valley. Through a long standing working relationship between SEMA and ORBA, the SEMA Board of Directors has voted to put its talent and assets behind this important land use decision.
SEMA is committed to the protection of responsible off-road recreation on public land. SEMA has submitted comments to the Marine Corps on behalf of its members supporting the use of Johnson Valley by the USMC under permit only. (No Base expansion into Johnson Valley). SEMA has been a valuable resource in connecting with the right people in Washington D.C. due to its full time staff in our nation’s capital.
ORBA members will be able to take advantage of a “Members Only” ORBA hospitality suite during the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The ORBA hospitality area can be used for meetings, a chance to get off the show floor or a work station. Location will be determined in the coming weeks.
SEMA and ORBA work together on several important public land use issues throughout the country. Without the support of organizations like SEMA, it would be almost impossible to reach the goals of keeping public land available for public recreation and the sale of your products.
