The Off Road Business Association has applied for a grant to help fund the first Nevada motorized recreation economic impact study. The grant would fund the first steps in creation of a multiyear partnership with the newly formed commission. If funded the grant will pay for a portion of the study, which will focus on jobs, tourism, products and services, as well as the financial impacts of the OHV industry on the Nevada economy. ORBA will contract with an independent contractor to develop the study. The survey will include data that shows the type of motorized recreation, locations users travel habits, and the purchasing power of OHV enthusiasts.
