ORBA is happy to announce Mike Webster will join the Off Road Business Association Board of Directors. Mike will be a welcome addition to the exciting group of Directors who are re-establishing ORBA as a leader in Off Road Advocacy efforts. His vast experience will help forge new opportunities for the growing trade association.

Since his arrival at Marketplace Events in 2008, Mike has been involved with all of the company’s 34 consumer events in North America and is responsible for the organic launch of the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) taking place in Orlando, Florida in October 2013. Prior to joining Marketplace Events, he was a senior-level executive with Advanstar Communications—for 26 years—where he was involved with many aspects of trade and consumer media management including the acquisition and/or management of expositions, magazines, directories, websites and more.
Mike’s experience at Advanstar included market sectors such as art, beauty, automotive, telecommunications, call center management and powersports. Regarding the latter, he was a founder of the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows which were held annually in more than a dozen major U.S. markets. Mike was also instrumental in the development and growth of the largest trade-only exposition in the world for motorcycle and powersports aftermarket products.
Mike is a southern California native and is based in the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group offices in Irvine, California. He attended Saddleback College and Orange Coast College and has a certificate from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Mike is a regular contributor to powersports industry events and is a member of ORBA, MIC, AMA, NACS, PCMA, SISO, and IAEE.
